A large exhibition to commemorate the breakthrough of the 50th year of painting by the manga genius Go Nagai!<\/p>\n

The manga genius Go Nagai has a variety of genres such as \u201cHarenchi Gakuen\u201d, which has caused social phenomena, \u201cDevilman\u201d who leaves the name in the history of the manga world, and \u201cMazinger Z\u201d, a monumental monument of the giant robot manga. Has been sent to the world.
\nThe number of works that have been announced so far exceeds 350, and the infinite imagination is still unknown.
\nThis exhibition, which will be held in commemoration of the 50th year of the painting industry, will display more than 600 valuable handwritten manga manuscripts and color illustrations, from debut to the latest.
\nExhibits are introduced by genre: \u201cDevil \/ Devil\u201d, \u201cRobot\u201d, \u201cGag\u201d, and \u201cCharming Hero Heroine\u201d.
\nIn addition, you can see treasured materials that cannot be seen in the area, and areas that are based on the world view of \u201cMazinger Z\u201d and \u201cDevilman\u201d.
\nIn addition, new works including illustrations and works that have made the way to Go Nagai’s debut as comics.

* This exhibition will be held in Osaka last year from September 8th to 24th (Osaka Bunkakan \/ Tempozan) and Ishikawa exhibition from July 20th to August 25th this year (Ishikawa Prefectural History) The museum will visit the Tokyo exhibition.<\/p>\n

\u25a0 Go Nagai Profile<\/p>\n

Born September 6, 1945 in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
\nFrom an early age, he became familiar with manga, movies, rakugo, and adventure novels, and made his debut in 1967 with \u201cMemeshi Polykichi\u201d after being assisted by Shotaro Ishinomori.
\nThe following year, \u201cHarenchi Gakuen\u201d will be serialized and will soon become a big boom.
\nSince then, he has continued to present works in a wide range of genres.
\nRepresentative works include \u201cDevilman\u201d, \u201cMazinger Z\u201d, \u201cViolence Jack\u201d, \u201cCutie Honey\u201d and many others.
\nIn 1980, he received the 4th Kodansha Manga Award (Shonen category) for “Dragon King”.
\nIn 2009, the Nagai Go Memorial Hall opened in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
\nIn 2018, he received the 47th Japan Cartoonists Association Award \/ Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award.
\nIn July 2019, he received the Order of Chevalier from the French government.
\nCurrently, \u201cDevilman Saga\u201d is serialized in Big Comic (Shogakukan) magazine.<\/p>\n
