During the period from April 13 to May 27, 2018, the Tokyo National Museum Heiseikan will hold a special exhibition \u201dEchoes of a Masterpiece: The Lineage of Beauty in Japanese Art\u201d.<\/p>\n

There are many “masterpieces” that exist in Japanese art history. They are born by being influenced by contemporary and past works or overseas works, and they are affecting another work as well.<\/p>\n

In this exhibition, we will display a number of masterpieces, paying attention to the influence relationship between these works and the common social background.<\/p>\n
