At the Tokyo University of the Arts University Art Museum, the period from March 31 (Sat.) to May 6, 2018 (Sunday), 2018, “Genealogy to Maiko no Mai” by Tozai beauty paintings will be held.

A Japanese painter, Uemura Matsuen who established her own beauty painting style and received the first medal of culture as a woman. “Maiko no Mai” (important cultural property), a masterpiece of Shozoen and the best masterpiece of modern beauty paintings, will be made public for the first time in this exhibition after repairing.

Please dress like a new, more beautiful “Maiko no Mai”.

From Saturday, February 24th to Sunday May 27th, 2018, the National Museum of Western Art will hold “Prado Museum Exhibition Velázquez and Glory of Painting”.

Prado art museum which is regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful “Hall of Fame”. This exhibition will display 70 treasured treasures of the Prado Art Museum, centered on 7 works by Diego Velázquez, one of the greatest painter in the history of Western art.
