The National Museum of Nature and Science will carry out a museum appreciation project using a remote-controlled robot in collaboration with Chiba University Hospital, Chiba Children’s Hospital, and NPO Milfille Pediatric Cancer Frontiers.

In this project, children admitted to Chiba University Hospital and Chiba Children’s Hospital will operate robots, and Makoto Manabe, a deputy director specializing in mesozoic reptiles and birds such as dinosaurs, will explain from the dinosaur exhibition floor of the museum. Through robots, we will approach the mystery of children who cannot go out due to illness and dinosaurs, and carry out this project with a message of support for children who fight illness.
