Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum

From November 16, 2019 (Saturday) to January 5, 2020 (Sunday), the Ueno Artist Project 2019 “A Look for Children” will be held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Ueno .

The Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum is called the “Hometown for Public Exhibitions” and is popular as a place for the presentation of works by many public organizations.
Since 2017, the “Ueno Artist Project Series” has been developed, which introduces contemporary artists who are active in public recruitment organizations by setting a theme every year.
This year, the third edition, will be held under the theme of “A look toward children”.
Children have captured the hearts of many writers as an attractive motif.
In childhood, everyone experiences, and artists create works with their own thoughts.
Various images of children are layered there, which leads to the “feelings for children” in the audience.
Please enjoy the diverse world of children expressed by 6 artists, from young to veteran.
